Installing Ram

I just purchased a DIMM chip for my Pavilion 6468. Myproblem is, I cant seem to locate where to install it. Underneath the power supply and behind my cd drives I see two chips which look to fit the description, but the white clips holding them in are labelled 1c and 12c. I cant really get in there to explore more. Does this make any sense to anyone? Am I on the right track or not even on the train?

Make sure you always maintain a hold on the metal case while doing this to insure grounding.
Look for the sticks that look exactly like the one you're holding. When found, simply push on the little clips on each end to "pop" it out.
Align and push-in your new one until the clips "snap" into the slots.

Thanks for the tip! Ive narrowd down my problem. I have to slide the drive cage out before I can get access to the slots but the directions inmy owners manual for taking out the drive cage must be missing a screw or something because it wont budge!
