Physical Memory Dump

Postby redsunpro » Fri Jan 30, 2004 3:21 am

ok.. So all of my drivers are all updated includeing my BIOS and when I restart my computer after all its done and then Physical memory dump with this error code...

0x00000050 (0xF000E816, 0x00000000, 0xF000E816, 0x00000000)
Page_Fault_in_Nonpaged_Area

So I took its advice and turned off the Bios chacheing and didnt get the dump again but that was 10 sec ago... This is all after I was useing the original drivers for all my devices and got many restarts (so I turned that off) and Got many dumps after that. I also tried to analyse my dump errors but I couldn't get that to work... My RAM is fine because I tried it in my other computer and used that RAM and it Dumped again. Now I am just wondering what that code up above means, so I can start to beging to take my computer apart and replace pieces or drivers or what ever is making it screw up.. here is my system.

BioStar M7VIP with Vip0124f Bios
AMD XP 2400+ 2.0
Radeon 9700 pro 128mb All In Wonder
Creative labs Soundblaster Live 5.1
Linksys LNE100Tx 10/100 Etherfast
Sony DVD-Rom/CD-RW
Acer 56x CD-Rom
Wester digital 160g 7200rpm
Windows XP SP1
And Norton System works

Try another video card.

Or try booting into windows in safe mode and removing your current video card and reinstalling with whatever drivers come by default.

This week end I am going to put in my old Geforce 2 64mb mx 400. Is there anything else I should try? I hope this isnt the problem because I would have to get a new card because I have used like 3 different drivers for this one and I get the same problems.

So I put my GeForce card into my computer and turned it on and got a mem dump right away.. then I uninstalled my ATI drivers and then installed my geforce drives and so far no dump but its only been like 5 hours and some times it takes longer.... what else might be the problem wiht my computer?..
