My brand new shiny computer arrived last night w/o O/S but with Linspire (Linux) OEM cd. Regretably, I have no tools to read the cd and install Linspire. I need the equivilent of a Windows Emergency Disk. (I think) Or somebody whose been here before to help. Or may I use a Win98 emergency disc without contaminating my file system. I need to partition my disc into several smaller specialized sections.

Any suggestion would be appreciated, I'm dead in the water.

Thanks, benn there, done that. I have an OEM vs and an OEM with no O/S. Can't get O/S loaded.
