I downloaded an ISO of SUSE 9.1 and I burned it to a disk. Aren't ISOs that are burnt to a disk supposed to be bootable? I just used the Windows burning system. Let me know what other steps I need to take if I did it wrong. When I boot it won't boot to the disk. Is there some kind of software I have to have to make ISOs bootable from ISOs

well an iso is just a disk image. what is SUSE 9.1?
also something ive read before, if you copy a dreamcast cd it wont work, btu you can change some stuff before u burn it and it makes it a bootable disk, so im guessing iso's arent bootable. but if i make a ps2 back up in iso format they work fine (i have my ps2 chipped).
If SUSE 9.1 is a pc game?? which i dout it is you will need a crack, but no talk bout that in here ofcourse.

also.... if you use daemon tools you can mount a disk image (while it is on the pc) and then its bootable i think. maby try that.

SUSE is a Linux OS at least i thought it was a 9.1

tot ell the truth i know apsolutly nouthing about Linux. ive never even seen it being used.
i woudl of thought if u downloaded that software it would need to be cracked or have a serial key or something.
Try using the daemon tools to install it, so have the disk image on the pc, start daemon, click it in the tool bar and mount the image to it see if that works.
