Hi,Hope someone can help,I downloaded mandrakemove ISO burnt the CD and away.Everything is great except i have no idea how to setup my internet connection.
I'm on AOL broadband in the uk,Modem is BT Voyager 100 usb adsl.if anyone could point mein the right direction please,because for the last couple of hours i seem to have been going around in circles.

This is my first look at Linux and i'm impressed,but i need net conection.

being an external USB modem, it is probably a "winmodem" and you probably won't be able to find propper drivers. If it's a popular model, someone has probably "hacked" the windows drivers or made new ones to work with linux, but does anyone ever get that lucky?

Your probalem is further complicated by your using AOL... Last i checked they didn't have a linux version. If you have 2 pc's and ethernet cards, you might be able to use a windows aol connected pc to share your internet connection to your linux pc, but you are probably not going to have an easy time of it
