setup restarting ...... help

i have recently installed a secondary hard drive to my dell dimension 8300 and formatted both both hard drives and when i tried installing windows xp home sp 1 after it reboots after trying to boot from cd it says setup is restarting then a pale blue screen appears with no writing on it at all and the pc goes no further has any 1 expierienced this problem before

any help would be appreciated thanks

Did you press F6 during the install to load the SATA raid drivers?
