auto start with a certain software

how do i change the software that is set to play when i insert a dvd into my PC or for that matter any software etc

Try opening Windows Explorer / Right Click on the Cd R/RW / Select "Properties" / AutoStart Tab.

thanks for helping, but the software i want to autoplay DVD's is not in the options box, how can i put this program into this box so i can select it?

The only way I've found is by editing the registry.
Backup yor registry first!

Just substitute your intervideo win dvd4 program and the appropriate extensions where it calls for "My Burner". brad
