monitor screen black / gray cant get to desk top
Posted: Thu Jan 10, 2008 8:17 ammy monitor is black or grey and cant access my desk top. Dose any one have any advise?

Have you tried booting into safe mode to see if you can get windows to load that way?
Reboot into Safe mode:
Restart Windows after you see the BIOS screen and before Windows starts to load.
Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Options Menu appears.
Use the Arrow key to ensure that the Safe Mode option is selected.
Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Safe mode.
Also do you hear any beeps while the system is trying to boot up?
