My ip has changed??

i posted a few days back on havin problems setting up my ftp well i fixed the problem by buying a linksys router like described on this site is is really good

i had my ftp site up and runing perfectly today for a few hours then i was kicked off so i was checking all my connections and making sure all my info was put in correctly when i noticed my ip adress had changed from 82.40.xx.108 to 82.40.xx.14 my ip has never changed before it always stayed the first one i went about setting it up again with the second ip and it never worked so i went to dns report and it said this

ERROR: The parent servers say that the domain 82-40-xx-14.cable.ubr07.uddi.blueyonder.co.uk does not have any NS records (although they may have some other information on that zone). I can not do a DNS report on a hostname (such as mail.example.com) or a domain name that does not have its own zone.]


can anyone tell me how this has happened
