Web and Mail Connection Problems

Postby Joe_90 » Sun Jun 19, 2005 4:12 pm

Hi, everybody/anybody

Hope someone can help.

I've just re-installed my XP Pro but whenever I try to surf the net the browser stops loading after only a few pages and my email through Outlook won't respond either, I have to keep reconnecting to get anything to work again.
It would be a great if someone could enlighten me to what the cause is.
Thanks.

How are you connected to the internet? Wireless, cable modem or dial up

Try opening Internet Explorer then Tools> Internet Options> Advanced and down the list see if there is a checkmark in TLS 1.0. If not put the check mark in. Sometimes that helps.
