Hi. I have had a small problem starting my comp at times. Its not every time but.? Say 1 out of 5 times the comp will get stuck on Boot up. It loads the Welcome screen of my manafacturer..ie. Acer then it just hangs. I can procede by doing the Ctr-Alt-Delete option which then boots it into action.??

I am running WinX Home ediion. Does anyone have any idea's as to why it does this. Everything works fine after the Boot.

Have you tried running scandisk and a defrag?
