Window automatically minimizes

Postby Star » Mon Apr 25, 2005 7:33 pm

Can somebody help? Occasionally my program window will minimize to the windows tray all by itself, and once it starts it won't stop unless I reboot. It's extremely frustrating.
Also sometimes while I'm typing the cursor will disapear and start start selecting the next available icon as if I were pressing the tab button. Does anybody know what's going on or how I can correct this? I'm not that great an the technical side of computers, I don't know what to do.
Thanks.

I had a similar problem with a laptop where someone spilled coke on the keyboard. The water evaporated, but the sugar was there to stay :|

Make sure the keyboard is plugged in all of the way, also make sure none of the pins are bent on the ps2 socket.

Try swapping out the keyboard with a known good one. The keyboard is the main suspect, a paper clip dropped between the keys to where you can't see it,can cause all sorts of wierd stuff.
