Audio Problems

Postby DSX » Wed Mar 16, 2005 12:26 am

OK, I've been living with this problem for awhile now, and have exhausted everything I can think to try to diagnose it. So here it is... when using my computer, sometimes I have audio clicks and pops that come out of my 5.1 speakers. I've tried using a headset, switching on the onboard sound from my mobo, updating drivers, updating my mobo's BIOS.... I only notice the problem when using the keyboard. I play a lot of games, World of Warcraft right now, and the directions keys (A,S,D,&W) seem to cause the problem, I hold one or more down and after a second or two, I get a few clicks... a few seconds later and I get another set of clicks. It is a PS2 keyboard (I would like to find a USB one that fits...)

So if anyone has any idea's, I'd be most grateful....

Thanks

What sound card are you using? Some of the older ones exhibit this problem.
