I am having a problem getting the machine to work as a domain server, i know dhcp is working. DNS,ADS,DHCP are all running however when i ask a client to join the domain i get an error. Here is the error i get from the client pc while trying to connect to the server(join the domain):
Note: This information is intended for a network administrator. If you are not your network's administrator, notify the administrator that you received this information, which has been recorded in the file C:\WINDOWS\debug\dcdiag.txt.

The following error occurred when DNS was queried for the service location (SRV) resource record used to locate a domain controller for domain server.net:

The error was: "DNS name does not exist."
(error code 0x0000232B RCODE_NAME_ERROR)

The query was for the SRV record for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.server.net

Common causes of this error include the following:

- The DNS SRV record is not registered in DNS.

- One or more of the following zones do not include delegation to its child zone:

server.net
net
. (the root zone)

For information about correcting this problem, click Help.

I would also like to know how to make it so that there are no password rules!!

This is a learning experiance for me so bear with me here and thank you for all of your help.

If it is on fire that is bad. You may want to have it looked at. If not then we will fix it.

Sounds like a reinstall of the OS is needed.
