Nope, this should be easy. Go to the nVidia website and download the latest drivers and install them.

Here is a link: http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

I can't believe i never thought of that *lol* guess it was probably because It wouldn't let me install anything i've tried yet.

I'll give it a try soon and post my results.

thanks

EDIT:: Would also Like to say (forgot to mention before) that my cpu locks up on me after a while. When I'm just letting it sit, it takes a LONG time, but i'f i'm like Downloading something, running something etc it can take 5 to 10 min max.

I think this is because for some reason it can't find the RAM that I have in my computer (correct me if i'm wrong).

I'm just about to fork over the money and have a pro do it ^^[/b]

I just thought of something ...

I have 2 HDD, one's 8GB (Old "F:" Drive, now it's the "D:" Drive, That i use to have windows installed on) amd a 120GB HDD (Old "C:", it's still "C:")

Ok, I use to have windows installed under the "F:" (now it's "D:")Drive and load windows from that drive, but now that i installed windows on the "C:", is there a way to have windows run under the "D:" drive which i use to have it load on?

If there is, maybe that is the easiest way I can fix my CPU.

TO PUT MY QUESTIONS MORE SIMPLE

I have windows installed on both a "C:" Drive and a "D:" Drive. Right now Windows loads using the "C:" Drive. IS there a way to switch it and make windows load under the "D:" Drive?

I think you downloaded the wrong drivers. On the nVidia download page you can select from different settings. Choose Grapics Card on the first option. Then select your card on the next, then OS on the last.

to see what hardware is installed correctly vs what needs help go to the device manager. Right click My Computer, go to MANAGE, click device manager. You'll see a list of every piece of hardware there. Things under OTHER DEVICES or stuff with red/yellow exclamation points are the problem children.

The simplest way to get drivers, if your lucky will be from the windowsupdate website. If you choose the advanced mode, you'll find a section labeled drivers... install everything there... actually you should install all of the updates if you haven't done so already. Hopefully you have a broadband connection cause it takes forever.

As far as where windows is installed, it should not matter.

Ok, then I installed it, and then restarted my computer.

I then went into START > CONTROL PANEL > SYSTEM

Then i went into the hardware tab and went into "Device Manager" and this is what I see ...

So can someone tell me what else I have to do to fix this issue?
