Hi efiste2
Select Run from the Start Menu, type control userpasswords2, and click Ok.
Untick the Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer option, and click Ok.

Most computers you buy in the store boot up to the desktop. No password is needed. Very convenient when you are the only user on the pc.

I'd have to disagree - surely if someone can just turn on the computer without any password, this is more insecure than having to enter a password? I know it's no rocket science to brute force a windows password, but it's definitely more secure to have one than not.
That said, if you are the only user & your machine is somewhere where other people don't have regular access then the convenience of logging on immediately may outweigh the security risk.
