lol what have u been doing!!!

well heres the problem for you, you can never really deleate everything. if you want to deleate every thing best way to do it is to get your hammer out and have a good old attack at your hard drive, n buy a new.

but... ok computers as you may be aware can only store 1's and 0's.
so what it does when it deleates something is it just stores certain parts of the hard drive as empty, when there not. it just kinda says liek this bit can be written over next time. so what you need 2 do effectivly is overwrite absolutly everything. so fill your pc up with loads of crap.
and i suppose after a long time every bit of naughty info u had will be replaced with new information.

did that make sence to you?
maby some one else can try explain as well.

hope ive helped

Yeah i am aware of most of wat u said and yeah u do explain things well, i was just wondering if there was a cheeep program that could help overcome the problem. But ill just go to the computer store and they will zap it with some magnetic waves and permanently wipe everything. Saves buying a new 120GB Hard Drive. But thanks for the help any way.

I was always told to use GDISK. It wipes the hard drive with 7 passes. Mostly used by the goverment.
Gdisk (included with Norton Ghost)
Gdisk /diskwipe or /qwipe (depending on the version) will wipe the MBR, the partitions, and make one pass on the drive. It can even do a /dodwipe which conforms to most current US Department of Defense (DoD) specifications...which is seven passes.

I've used killdisk to completely wipe a drive before - it works from a bootdisk & wipes the entire drive. If you want to leave windows intact, I've used BCWipe - last time I checked it was free & will overwrite a specified number of times :)

THANKS
