cd-rom devices not responing in "My Computer"

about a week ago i booted my computer up and everything was going as usual unitl i tried to read a disc on one of my cd drives. well the problem was when i opened "my computer" it showed niether one of my cd drives.i went into my biops and everything was still there and i aslo went into device manager and everything was there as well. i have no idea how to fix this please help
