hi guys, my pc and internet work fine at home, and even at work its fine. However i have alot of down time at work sometimes, and id like to play some games on my laptop that require an internet connection ( eg. WoW, Eve online ). the problem im having is that it wont let me connect to their servers. i can download the patches and the games, but it wont let me log in like it does at home. Obviously its something with my works internet, maybe it has some sort of block on it or something, but is there any way around this?

Yeah the company firewall is probably going to be blocking certain ports. Your best bet is to setup your laptop to run via a vpn proxy. The following link should be able to walk you through it.

Yes, I agreed, the corporation server should have been configured to not letting the employee playing games or even watching online videos as well.
VPN is a good try. Or changing DNS setting may help though.
Hope this helps.
