Sound, media player, flash programs and games won't work?
Posted: Mon Jan 02, 2012 8:47 amI'm using windows 7 and I think my pc probably has some virus on it, but i've scanned with microsoft security essentials and it says it's protected with green indication, it deleted some 'threats' after a scan though. Computer loads up easy, can easily browse the internet and can run some programs. (Google earth.)
However, when i tried to load a vid on youtube the browser will freeze up and a flash error message occurs. No sound will work throuh my speakers, when i click the sound level bar it freezes up. When i click to play a music file through windows media player, the song will be shown in the media browser but the song wont start playing and sometime it freezes. Tried to play battlefield 3 and it just froze up. Does anyone no what's going on or how i can fix this? (When these things freeze, it;s just the program i'm trying to use, the rest of the computer functions normally.)
