Memory: 4096MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 3200MB RAM

why do i not have all of Memory available ?

several things here, possibly a combination. If you have a 32 bit version of windows, 4 gigs is max and this INCLUDES video memory.

Another thing is simply whether or not your using onboard video or a video card. 99% (newer models are becoming exceptions) of on board video chips use system memory to operate thus making that much less available for the operating system.

And finally a combination of the two could be the reason. In any case above, what your seeing is normal.

yes .. i'm running 32-bit windows 7 with 1090t x6, 4gigs memory, amd 6870, msi 890fxa-gd70 MB

i was planning on buying another 4 gigs ... means i have to buy new windows too ..

correct?

If you want to add another 4GB then you'll have to get a 64-bit version...and be prepared to wipe the system and start clean. There isn't a 32-bit to 64-bit upgrade path :(
