Hello, Im new to the forums, and I need help with a Problem.

First of all, my computer specs (yes its really bad, I know):

Windows XP Home Edition (Service Pack 3)
AMD Sempron (tm) Processor 3000+
1.81 GHz
512 MB RAM
graphic card: SiS 760 (128Mb)

and well... my problem is that my RAM, as you can see, is supossed to be 512. But it seems to be working (or at leats its how its shown on my PC Specs) at 384 MB. Whats wrong? Can it be solved?

Please I need help, Thanks.

Nothing is wrong, you have onboard video that works off of your system memory.

128 video+384 system = 512 total

Its normal but adding in a video card will free that memory up and give you dedicated video processing and memory so its not pulling on the cpu and eating up your ram.

So that means Its running at 512 even if it says its at 384? or its supposed to run like that?

Your operating system (windows) is only getting access to 384, the rest has been allocated to power your video but its suppose to be that way. Its not getting 512 to your system though, the only way around it is to add more memory or a vid card.
