Stopped connecting automatically

Postby Metalhead2123 » Thu Jul 14, 2011 7:52 am

Hi everyone..first of all I am not a "Noob" to this site, I lost my previous details and had to re-register.
My current prob is that recently my PC wont connect to the internet on startup any more. I am running through an Ethernet cable via a TP-Link Wireless reciever (this is for the wifes Laptop) my PC is on the ethernet. The only way I can connect is to go to device manager Disable the Ethernet controller then Enable this again...then everything is Hunky Dory???..This is NOT a seriuos issue but a Pain in the A** I could do without. any suggestions would be gratefully recieved.
Thanks in advance as usual...Pete.
P.S I used to be registered as Torquay-Pete, so if anyone can get my previous account details back I would be more than happy

Please check your PM for old login information.

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling your ethernet drivers?
