Re-install Windows w/o floppy/cd-drive

Postby ansmwke » Mon Apr 21, 2008 11:03 pm

I have a fujitsu t3010d tablet pc. it does not have a floppy drive, or cd-rom drive.
I have my external cd-drive hooked up, but it will not boot from the windows disk to re-install. I looked around in the BIOS and the cd-drive is set to boot before the hard drive, but it still does not boot. :flame: Is there a way to copy something to the hard drive to it will boot up in like a 98 boot disk or ms-dos so i can run the cd?

thanks

might be your answer. You can copy the contents of the Windows CD to the USB drive and run the setup from there.
