iseeyoubaby,

It's being stubborn for sure OK let's try the old manual way that always worked for me in the past.

Warning these instructions are for this thread only!
You should never attempt to use them for anything else!

Please copy this to Notepad and save it to your desktop or print it. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes.

Please download Process Explorer by Systernals from:

The rest of this fix must be done in safe mode.
Reboot into Safe mode:
Restart Windows after you see the BIOS screen and before Windows starts to load.
Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Options Menu appears.
Use the Arrow key to ensure that the Safe Mode option is selected.
Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Safe mode.

Unzip Process Explorer and double click on procexp.exe

In the top section of the Process Explorer screen double-click on winlogon.exe to bring up the winlogon.exe properties screen. Click on the Threads tab at the top.

Once you see this screen click on each instance of:
korspi.dll
once and then click the kill button.

After you have killed all of:
korspi.dll

under winlogon click OK.
If you see any of the files listed below, kill them as well.

Files to look for:
--------------------------
ipsrok.dll
ipsrok.bak1
ipsrok.bak2
ipsrok.ini
ipsrok.ini2
--------------------------
BE SURE TO KILL ONLY THESE FILES!!!

Probably not all of them will be present. That is OK.

Next double-click on explorer.exe, select the Threads tab, and again click once on each instance of:
korspi.dll
and click the kill button.

After you have killed all of:
korspi.dll

If you see any of the files listed below, kill them as well.

Files to look for:
--------------------------
ipsrok.dll
ipsrok.bak1
ipsrok.bak2
ipsrok.ini
ipsrok.ini2
--------------------------
BE SURE TO KILL ONLY THESE FILES!!!

Close Process Explorer

Next run Hijack This! and place a check beside each of the following.
O20 - Winlogon Notify: korspi - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\korspi.dll

Now click Fix checked and close HijackThis.

Start killbox.exe, now select the option "Delete on reboot".
Now click on the "All files" button (it will turn green)

Next copy the below red part:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\korspi.dll

Click 'File' in the killbox Menu on top and choose Paste from clipboard
Now click the red X icon to delete these files on reboot
Killbox will tell you that all listed files will be removed on next reboot and asks if you would like to Reboot now, click YES

If you don't get that message, reboot manually.

Once your system has rebooted post a new HiJackThis log when you reply.

iseeyoubaby,

Your log is clean :)

You should clear your system restore points by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties > System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK and reboot the system. After the reboot turn system restore back on.

You should be able to uninstall the yahool tool bar through the controll panel > Add or Remove programs
