iirc, you will need to download/install addidtional language packs for your browser and the OS.. chances are that the option to download has been turned off after somene got sick of the popup asking if they wanted to install them.. lol

go into control panel -> regional options -> Languages tab. tick both boxes in supplemental laguage support.

Then click the details button, and make sure you've added japanese into the available languages and click ok.

Now click the advanced tab. tick 10001 (MAC - Japanese). tick the box to apply to all users. Click OK

in IE, go to Tools->Internet Options -> General Tab -> Languages Button. Add Japanese.

In Firefox, go to Tools->Options->Advanced Tab->Choose Button and add Japanese support.

The only other change you may have to make is if your browser still attempts to translate the titles into unicode, is to change the default language to JApanese (using the language bar).

hope that helps

i've got all that, but it's still not translating into kana. it's a zipped file, if that helps, using winrar to see it, but just opening in zip doesn't work either.
