Invalid System Disk???

Postby smilinjack » Fri Jul 13, 2007 3:20 am

:D Greetings,
When I boot up my unit, I get a DOS error message:

"Invalid System Disk - Replace the disk, and then press any key".
There are not any
CDs/DVDs in the drive bays.So I hit a key and it continues as normal
Any Ideas as to why this is happening?
Thanks in advance to all who help!!!

Jack

your best bet is to enter the BIOS setup (Hit Del or F2 at bootup depending on your PC model). find the section that deals with boot priority of drives. Chances are, you'll find that a USB device is in the chain before your hard drives.

Simply set the priority to HDD first, and ensure that your primary HDD is set to boot (some BIOS's determine SATA priority ad boot priority seperately)
