Well I am not a lover of DELL.not because there is anything wrong with them but because when my friend got his Dell it came with a fantastic Animated Tutorial and then, when he had trouble they made him format the hard drive and he of course lost the tutorial and they won't reinstall it for him!
Anyway I must say that their phone help is great (much better than my 3 year Smart Plan that cost me $150,00 and they are not very helpful in my opinion!)
Well back to the story. My friend crashed his computer today, it would not boot up, go into safe mode or do anything!
He just phoned Dell and they told him to take the front cover off, unplug 3 different cables, plug them back, turn on computer and then they told him to press a F? key (he forgot which one!)
Well after lots of figures all over the screen for a couple of minutes it all came back on!
Now you cannot tell me that DELL has ALL the Bright Sparkes so please would someone tell me what my friend actually did and what was the reason!
His O/S is Windows XP Home!
Thank you all if you spent your time reading this!
Bye. gotcha
