Images not displaying in any web browser I have

This problem just started happening. I'm using IE6 and Mozilla. Some images are not displaying at all. It's both .gifs and .jpgs. I don't get a red x either. I had SP2 installed, I didn't like it at all and I just uninstalled it to see if it would help, it didn't. I've read various posts and tried your suggestions, installing VM and checking file associations, nothing is working. Please help! I help maintain the sears.com website and HAVE to be able to see the images in the ads.

Try removing Mozilla and then go to tools on internet explorer-->internet options-->advanced and click on "restore defaults.

If that doesn't work, try to restore the computer to a date to where things worked right.
