Help box 'sticking' on screen

Postby lilpinkflower » Fri Oct 08, 2004 7:17 pm

I hope I've posted this in the right place !! Maybe its a Misc Software problem...i dunno !

I'm not even sure what I'm talking about is a help box... so here's a SS

Image

It doesn't happen all the time...just every few boots. The box stays on the screen ALL the time (normally it's only visible if you move the mouse around in the area of IM in the systray) so even if Incredimail isn't checking mail 'No new messages' is always visible on my taskbar. :|

Another thing I've noticed is that after some boots the 'No new messages' box appears on boot up at the top of my desktop ! ... but as soon as I click the mouse it disappears...no trouble... but very strange !!

It's a pain reinstalling Incredimail so I'm asking for help first in case it's anything else causing the problem.

Ta

sounds like it's the software.. you should take it out of the startup and see if the same things happen when you open it manually

This is what I would try. Try setting to the highest value you can. There is a checkbox that says only show rates my monitor can handle, make sure that is checked to.

One last thing, try changing your color depth from 32 to 16 bit if its set that way. Or the other way around if its that way.
