windows xp ????

I seem to have downloaded the windows xp service pak2, but there is no sign of the sesurity center icon in control panel.My update history says i have downloaded the serv. pak.2successfully. There is no visible signs of any change on the explorer toolbar , or anywhere else as a matter of fact ....??? ...anyone ??

Well it does say it's installed with SP2 ...

Maybe go back to and see if there are any updates that were missed during your installation of SP2.
You could uninstall SP2 from Add/Remove Programs then Re-install.
