Postby wolfal » Wed Sep 22, 2004 2:01 am

In XP SP1 I used a script to remove windows messenger, I have not found any
good solutions to get rid of messenger this time around. with SP2 that is.

Any one found and answer to this probe??

Here is another little program that is basicaly a services editor.

Not only can you eliminate Windows Messenger 4.x

But you can use it also to turn off the SP2 Security Center.

(assuming that you dont need a program running to tell you whether or not you have a firewall, AV, & Windows Update running.)

Plus a few other quick on/off "switches".

Freeware :!:
