Hi kratak Image

Make sure that your Operating System and Internet Explorer are up-to-date by visiting the and downloading all of the Critical Updates and Service Packs.

Yeah I'd hold off installing SP2, just too many problems with it right now.
(personal opinion)

K, lemme see what I can find for you

Maybe your computer is having trouble writing to memory... Image

Download and run MemTest ... http://hcidesign.com/memtest/download.html
It's a RAM reliability tester; it tests the ability of your computer's memory to store and retrieve data. By using it, you can insure that your computer's RAM functions correctly.

Once it has crashed, you should be asked if you want to send an error report. If you do, the last thing it will do is ask if you want any more information about the crash. If you do, you will be taken to a microsoft webpage where it may identify the problem.

I've just had a machine do this, and microsoft identified the problem as some spyware I didn't realise was on there. Deleted the spyware and IE has stopped crashing :)

Thanks for the suggestions

I ran the memeory test and diddnt get any errors. I decided to re-image my machine with an early image i took. I figured it would be quicker. So far so good, no random explorer crashes.

Once again tahnks for all the ideas
