The following info is from our FTP Server page:
modules.php?name=FTP
Open up the Forwarding tab. You will need to make two entries. The first is the
port you are going to use as your ftp server and one port less. For this example, our ftp
server is going to run on port 7000. This means we forward port 6999 and 7000. Now
we need to forward a passive mode range of ports. I have forwarded port 50,000 to
50,100 which will allow 100 ports to be open at one time. You can forward as many ports
as you like, but 100 should be sufficient for home use. Each of of these should only have
TCP checked, UDP is not necessary. The IP Address should be set to the machines IP
address that is going to run the FTP server. Make sure the Enable box is checked. If your IP address changes on
the machine your running your ftp server on, you will need to update the IP address box
in your router each time your IP address changes.
