Major Start Up Problem - need urgent assistance!...

Postby Stonka2004 » Mon Jun 07, 2004 9:35 pm

I dont know if this should be in this section but i have windows xp and figured it should but anyway... ...My windows kept on crashing and playing up all the time, so i insterted my windows xp disc to repair the problem, when i rebooted and come to the menu etc, it did say there was an error and i followed the instructions to repair the problem, it then rebooted... ...but when it rebooted i had 2 options, 1 to go to windows setup and 1 to go to windows xp home, but it dosent matter which one i select, the machine just freezes and constantly beeps from the speaker inside the machine, it is really frustrating and i am very very stuck, some one please tell me what i need to do! thank you very much!

You may be better off doing a complete reinstall rather than just a repair...

You're supposed to download the test on a working comp, make a bootdiskette and boot your bad guy from that diskette.

bye now
