Hi,
My home network consists of 2 Macs and a WinXP laptop connected via LAN cable to a Draytek ADSL router, plus two Windows laptops which connect to the router wirelessly. My question is, if one of the wireless laptops gets infected with a virus, is the rest of my LAN at risk of becoming infected too?.

Most likely no, it would have to be a true network and not just sharing your lan connection.
The virus would also have to be network wise meaning to would have to have the ability to infect other systems on the network.

Have you mapped any network drives?

Thanks for the reply.....I guess I can enable wireless access for the rest of the house again!. As for mapping network drives.....I've seen the option somewhere but never known what it does, so I think the answer is no. Is it similar to the SharedDocs folder ?

Mapping a network drive is basically connecting to another system on your lan.
