Another laptop question

Recently a Thoshiba Satellite 220 CDS model number PA124OU was given to me. I would like to do a complete reformat using the floppy boot. Unfortunately the recovery disk did not come with the unit. My questions are as follows.

When I do the boot from floppy there is going to be a point where it says boot with cd rom support. At this point I will have to remove the floppy drive and put the cd rom in the unit. Is there a way to stop the timer from counting down while I perform this task? Or what happens when the timer reaches 0?

Secondly without the recovery disk I am going to have to download the motherboard drivers from the Toshiba site which is http://209.167.114.38/support/Download/ ... s220en.htm

Can someone look over the list and suggest which exe's in the list Im going to need and which ones I dont. There are a couple that are obvious to me. I will be re-installing windows 98se on the unit. Once again thanks fo all the help. Daniel
