computer services disabled

Postby happymouth » Wed Mar 16, 2005 2:56 am

hey
not positive if this is correct forum, move me if you must.
xp pro, 750 mhx, 256 mb ram, 20 gig hd, blah blah.
had an issue in the last month of the conputer just never booting in to windows, solved it finally with an upgrade on the xp pro disk. this morning i rebooted my computer *not for the first time since reintall* - and all the main services are disabled. network, unp, everythng. now i have two questions...
um....why in the hell?
and
i had this same issue before the reinstall, is my problem deeper than a reinstall could help? should i just clean install and start over? i would hate for this to keep happening, but i would really hate to start over and it be a quick fix i haven't thought of.
any help much appreciated,
jen
