remotely access windows nt server from windows xp client pc

is there a way to do this? just like the remote desktop connection on win xp? thanks! you could also point me to the right link if you know one.

VNC is the name of the game

here is a link:

Its free and there is a hell of a lot of documentation. Its very easy to log into a server from anywhere, if you know the IP and the software is installed.

We use it a lot to fix a client machine. Have them download the software, run it and reboot, then get them on the net, have them mouse over the VNC icon and get their IP and you are in.

You have the option on the install to set a password, which I recommend

There is a newer one out called tight VNC here is the link: I haven't experimented much with this one, it seems like the same animal.
