When i try to start up certain games i get this error

I Have directx 9.0c i tried reinstalling it, reinstalling my video card reinstalling windows, i have the lastest drivers, i tried disabling direct draw, disabling virtual memory, hardware accel to basic. nothing works this is driving me nuts whats the problem.

Sounds like you need to update the drivers for your video card.
