It's a third slot i'm trying to put the 64 in. and it is a home built computer just a buch of differant parts throw together. i'm not sure what the motherboard is but i'll find out.

try installing the one stick that is giving you a problem by itself and see if the
system boots. If it doesn't, send it back to the manufacturer for replacement
Most Memory has a "lifetime guarentee."
