controller 2440

Postby billybob1957 » Thu Dec 02, 2004 1:10 pm

Hi,
When i start my system I get an error message that states."controller-2440 (pci\ven_8086&dev_2440&subsys_00000000

bad command.

This line is also in my autoexec.bat listing in the system configuration utility.

Can someone tell me what this means?

Thanks.

I don't know why that would be in autoexec.bat - it doesn't belong there! Just edit autoexec.bat (it'll be in c:\) with notepad & put 'rem' in front of that line. This will prevent it being read & should remove the error message :)
