Hey all Image

I've recently been having alot of trouble with IE, like errors in Kernel32. When I close IE, then try to open an icon on my desktop it freezes for a short period. Even when I try to click Start it will freeze. After a few seconds it will be ok then I can continue on.
I have 98SE so I use the restore feature for IE in the Add/Remove Programs but it doesn't seem to help.
I have Mozilla 1.7.3 installed also and have been using it rather than IE. I've had no errors of any kind when I use Mozilla as my browser.

I do have some questions for those of you who use Mozilla.
Is there a place to delete your Temp files like you do in IE?
(Tools>Internet Options)
Also how do I make it my default browser?
Do you think I will have conflicts between the 2 browsers?

I was thinking on un-installing IE altogether but its so intergraded into the O.S. I'm wondering if I will run into problems elsewhere. Does anyone have any thoughts on that?

My original plan was to reformat and reinstall my O.S. but if I can correct these errors I will not have to.

I don't know why you're having these problems with IE, but rather than mozilla you may want to try firefox (www.mozilla.org/firefox) since this is the 'new' mozilla. It's faster, and development is occurring on it whereas I don;t think it is on mozilla :)

Yeah. Firefox is good. When I was running windows OS thats what I used. I never found out how to set it as my default browser though. Its a little better than IE, and the only problem that I ran into on it was loading some Java Applets, which didnt hapen too often!

Yes, infact I have installed Firefox last Friday. Found it really good. You can import your IE settings easily, and bookmarks, and new themes. I like it  and it's really faster than IE and mozzila itself
