I've recently been having alot of trouble with IE, like errors in Kernel32. When I close IE, then try to open an icon on my desktop it freezes for a short period. Even when I try to click Start it will freeze. After a few seconds it will be ok then I can continue on.
I have 98SE so I use the restore feature for IE in the Add/Remove Programs but it doesn't seem to help.
I have Mozilla 1.7.3 installed also and have been using it rather than IE. I've had no errors of any kind when I use Mozilla as my browser.
I do have some questions for those of you who use Mozilla.
Is there a place to delete your Temp files like you do in IE?
(Tools>Internet Options)
Also how do I make it my default browser?
Do you think I will have conflicts between the 2 browsers?
I was thinking on un-installing IE altogether but its so intergraded into the O.S. I'm wondering if I will run into problems elsewhere. Does anyone have any thoughts on that?
My original plan was to reformat and reinstall my O.S. but if I can correct these errors I will not have to.

and it's really faster than IE and mozzila itself
