Hi! I know most of you know ooodles more than I, so please be patient with my basic question, it comes from one who's confused and really wants to learn. What is the difference between 10 kb and 10 megs? Are kbs another way of saying megabytes or are kbs contained in megabytes (as a lesser amount forming megabytes), I've tried to look it up but none of the dictionaries I have will tell me.
Thanks!

Here is a link that might help you understand the difference.

http://www.onlineconversion.com/computer.htm

1 Kilobyte (KB) = 1,024 Byte
10 Kilobyte (KB) = 0.0097656 Megabyte (MB)
10 Megabyte (MB) = 10,240 Kilobyte (KB)

Thank you! I needed to upload something and wasn't sure if I was over my limit. Now I have a way to gauge things.
