Norton internet security

Since installing the 2004 Norton internet security each time the computer is started I receive the security notice " KHOST.EXE is attempting to access the internet" The recommended action is to 'block' this,but even by doing so (ticking -always use this action),the warning reappears for a few times consecutively. What precisely is KHOST.EXE please ?
I also frequently receive "Msimn error" since installing the security software. What does this pertain to please ?

Go to Start>Run, type in msconfig click ok, click on the start up tab and search through there and uncheck it. (It states its not needed at start up.) This will stop it from running at start up.

actually i did think about doin wut u sed but i was replyin ded fast and the screen shots were enuff of an effort...me lil girl was in the bath *bad mother alert* lol.....actually i'm not that bad..the bath is in the next room to the comp...well virtually...hahahaha
