You might also want to get rid of this.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [LoadQM] loadqm.exe

If you do a search for it on the net you will see it is a litle jewel in windows that seems to have no real apparent value or use. Daniel

Well guys, I've done all that you've said, and the toolbar is no longer there! Hurrah! Knowing my luck, it will come back with a vengeance and haunt me for the rest of my life!

I did hear the MSN plus is responsible for the toolbar, so I am no longer using that. If I did start using MSN plus, would the toolbar come back?

re msn

Its not msn. Have a look at the post I just put in SECURITY and see if you have done what Ive suggested there. Way to go on your repair work. Download and install SpywareGuard now. Good Luck. Daniel

HELP! I have it too

I've used Adaware and Spybot, but the mysearchnow toolbar keeps coming back.

I'm sure brad will be in soon to cast his expert eye over your log, but in future your post will get noticed more if you start a new one, rather than tagging it onto a previous one :)
