You should uninstall any older versions of Acrobat before installing Reader v6.
The v6 installation does NOT remove earlier versions of the reader software nor are you given any option to uninstall then during the v6 setup.

You should Uninstall the older version FIRST.
Then re-install the new ver6.

Try that.

i thought i cudn't have Acrobat 6 either on my win98 ...so i'm gunna try dat too

Brads right, 6 is no good--takes forever to load and its buggy and likes to phone home
