Windows Media Player not working...

Your Log File looks great.
I'd do this completly uninstall all WMP.
Delete all your Temp Files.
Reboot.
Run a Reg. Cleaner if you have one.
Reinstall WMP 7.1

After you have run all your spyware stuff and CWShreeder as per brads request and uninstalled media player try downloading RegVac and use it to clean out all the registry keys and then re-download media player. Remember when you uninstall media player go into program files and remove everything there that has to do with media player. Daniel

Ok...I uninstalled or deleted all WMP files.
I then went and downloaded REGVAC.
It came up with 473 Items?????

What do I do with them?
I put a check in Software as well...should I rerun REGVAC with the tick removed?

I restored the KEYS then reran REGVAC doing the CLASSES VAC only...
It came up with 315 Entries!
Do I let regvav delete these?
Or restore them?

What do I do?
Maybe explain to me Daniel what these entries mean....

STASH VAC
FILE LIST VAC
SOFTWARE VAC

Is it OK to delete the ENTRIES these VACS find?

Ok,I couldn't wait for an answer sorry.
I let RegVac delete the entries in CLASSES VAC.

Re-installed 7.1 and it's working.
I'm running Win98SE and was using MediaPlayer 9 fine before this.
Should I try to upgrade to 9?
