I downloaded MSN Messenger 6 and after restarting my computer, this message "Explorer has caused an error in BROWSEUI.DLL. Explorer will now close." kept popping up. Everytime I try to open something or even right-click, this message pops up. I can't open anything except my Opera browser, and to open it I have to use the Internet button on my keyboard. Please help me, I would really appreciate it.

A little more information would be helpful to make sure I give the right response.
What OS are you running win95, win98, win98se or winME and what version of Internet Explorer are running 5.0, 5.5 or 6.0?

I am using Windows ME and my Internet Explorer is version 5.0. But back in December, IE stopped working so I had to download Opera, which is my default browser right now. Thanks =)

As I see it you have two choices to repair your BROWSEUI.DLL file
1.You should be able to repair your Internet Explorer installation of BROWSEUI.DLL
Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add/Remove Programs.
On the Install/Uninstall tab, click Microsoft Internet Explorer,
Click Add/Remove, click Repair the current installation of Internet Explorer, and then click OK.
If the Internet Explorer Repair Tool Verification does not work, or if Internet Explorer
is not listed in the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel,
you may be able to start the Internet Explorer Repair tool from a command prompt:
Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type the following command, and then click OK:
rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE5Maintenance "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Setup\SETUP.EXE" /g "C:\WINDOWS\IE Uninstall Log.Txt"
NOTE: This command is case sensitive.

2.Upgrade your Internet Explorer to 6.0 sp1 from Microsoft (link below)

Thanks for the advice again, but none of that would work because I can't double-click anything on my desktop. If I tried to clilck on the Start menu or anything else on my desktop the message would pop up.

Oh, I forgot to add that I tried downloading the newest version of IE but it still didn't work.
